Description
TG type A-60 Ceramic Insulation Wool
The Ceramic Wool has a long track record of safety on board, thanks to the A-60 fireproof classification. The wool has been certified by the main certification societies, like DNV, CCS and Bureau Veritas. To apply the wool in any compartment, a 5 mm hard layer is applied to get a strong and smooth surface.
Purpose TG type A-60 Ceramic Insulation Wool
The Ceramic wool can be coated with glass or aluminum foil glass cloth depending on the requirements. The ceramic Wool can be shaped into blocks, stiffeners and casings. These are mainly used as the insulating materials at cabin inner surfaces, stiffeners (T steels and ball steels), cable holders, and pipes. These pipes can transport all kind of liquids, from cold to hot and exposed to water and weather,
The composition of Ceramic Wool type TG
TG type A-60 Ceramic Insulation Wool is made from high quality clay mineral by melting, spraying into fibers and a thermal curing process. The main Ingredients are metal oxides like Aluminum oxide Al2O3, Silicon dioxide SiO2, ferric oxide (Fe2O3), (Potassium oxide) K2O, Sodium oxide (Na2O), Magnesium oxide (MgO).
