Super light Poly Spathic for insulation
The Poly Spathic for insulation will provide a class A non-combustible mantel. Basic material are heat-resisting crystal ores. Like Aluminum oxide, Silicon dioxide, and Zirconia.
The ores are made into fibers through melting. fiber drawing geometry and needle-weaving processes. The Poly Spathic has a two-layer structure.
The soft layer is produced by a new process, and is resin, residue and dust free. Free of stimulus on the human skin and avoids irritation and allergies.
DJS Poly Spathic is coated with a glass cloth on the outside of the heart layer. The soft layer is flame-retardant. The soft layer is the inner layer, which can fit well with steel plates and prevent the condensation of water. The soft layer offers excellent fireproof performance, has a good anti corrosion level, sound absorption and thermal insulation.
The heart layer is the heart and smooth surface with good toughness, impact resistance and compression.
As for its flat appearance, putty it is unnecessary. DJS is a multi-functional fireproof material for shipbuilding with a high level of safety. DJS Poly Spathic, as a kind of multifunctional inner decorative material with fireproof, thermal insulation, sound insulation and absorption functions, is mainly applicable to compartments of outer plates of hull, Cabon panels and ceilings.
Also applicable to T steels, ball steels, cable holds etc. It can be used as thermal insulation for ventilation ducts and exhaust pipes.
The Super Light Poly Spathic has certificates of CCS and EC to ensure you will have a safe and sustainable product on board.
Pipes
The glass wool non-combustible mantels can be used for pipes with a medium temperature no higher than 250 o or 482 Fahrenheit. This includes frozen pipes, hot water pipes, steam pipes and even exposed pipes on open deck.
Generic specifications – DJS Super Light Poly Spathic
The non-combustible Type A product has a surface of coating glass cloth. Fixation with stud pins.
The material has been tested for asbestos and comply with Hong Kong International Convention for the safe and environmentally sound recycling of ships 2009 (Hong Kong Convention).
